AIS Approved to Manufacture Fittings for Pipeline Elevate-RT™ (PE-RT) Piping Systems
The approval establishes AIS as a source for molded and fabricated fittings for the new high-temperature polyethylene piping system.
BIRMINGHAM, Ala. — AIS has been approved to manufacture molded and fabricated fittings for Pipeline Elevate-RT™, the high-temperature polyethylene (PE4710 PE-RT) piping system from Pipeline Plastics manufactured using Dow INTREPID™ 2499 PE-RT resin.
AIS will manufacture fittings approved for use with Pipeline Elevate-RT™ pipe, giving distributors and wholesalers a dedicated source for fittings designed to support complete PE-RT piping systems.
“For distributors, having a reliable source for the right fittings is critical,” said Cody McDonald, AIS Division Plant Manager. “This approval means they can come to AIS for Elevate-RT fittings, backed by the manufacturing and fabrication capabilities we’ve built here.”
